본 연구는 장애노인의 사회참여가 생활만족도에 미치는 영향과 이 관계에서 정신건강과 자아존중감의 다중매개 효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 분석 자료는 장애인고용패널조사(Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled) 2 차 웨이브 4차 자료이고, 65세 이상 장애노인이면서 응답범주 중 사회참여, 정신건강, 자아존중감, 생활만족도 변수 모두 응답한 337명을 대상으로 분석하였다. 자료 분석을 위해서는 SPSS 25.0과 AMOS 18.0 통계 패키지가 사용되었다.
분석 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회참여, 정신건강, 자아존중감, 생활만족도의 구조모형 직접경로는 일부 경로에서 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 장애노인의 생활만족도와 사회참여의 관계에서 매개변수인 정신건강, 자아존중감은 생활만족도에 대한 매개변인으로서 생활만족도를 향상 시켜주는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로장애노인의 생활만족도 향상을 위해 중요한 변수인 사회참여와 정신건강, 자아존중감 제고를 위한 사회복지 정책 및 실천적 방안을 제언하였다.
This study analyzed verify the impact of Elderly with Disabilities of social participation on Daily life satisfaction and the Multiple mediating effects of mental health and self-esteem.
Analyzing data of this study was conducted through the second wave of the forth data of the Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled, and 337 Elderly with Disabilities over the age of 65 who responded to all variables of Social Participation, mental health, self-esteem, and Daily life satisfaction among the response categories were selected as the study subject. For this step, this study utilized Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) 25.0 and Analysis of Moment Structures (AMOS) 18.0. Findings of the study can be summarized as follows; First, the influence of Social Participation of the Elderly with Disabilities on Daily life satisfaction was analyzed through a structural model, which showed that the direct paths to the structural model of Social Participation, mental health, self-esteem, and Daily life satisfaction were significant in some path.
Second, mental health and self-esteem were found to be Daily life satisfaction-relieving factors as parameters in the relationship between participation of the Elderly with Disabilities and Daily life satisfaction. Based on the results of this study, we propose social welfare policy and practical measures for proposed to improve social participation, mental health, and self-esteem, which are important factors for improve the life satisfaction of the Elderly with Disabilities.
