Immediately after the founding of the Joseon Dynasty, the king tried to establish or build a palace and carry out his own politics in his own space. King Taejo's Gyeongbokgung Palace, Taejong's Changdeokgung Palace, and Seongjong's Changgyeonggung Palace were such political spaces. The palace is closely connected to the trends of political and literary power, as well as the presentation of the governing ideology of a new era, and to the literary world decorated through poetry. This is why the palace is a symbol of political power of the time and a key factor in assessing the aesthetic effect of sentences.
In commemoration of the founding and reconstruction of the palace, this paper attempted to examine the political tasks and governance ideology of the time through the published books and writings. In addition, the process of replacing the literary power of the time as well as the meaning of civilization and history contained in the name of the newly established palace building was confirmed. In addition, through a congratulatory poem produced to celebrate the completion of the palace, we tracked the reality of the literary world and its changes.
Of course, Chinese poetry and literature were also built very often to celebrate the founding of the palace. They also tried to beautifully decorate the reign of the king who built it beyond the palace itself. This literary work showed the culmination of efforts to decorate the royal residence space of the monarch, the palace, as a noble political space where the virtue of the Holy Spirit radiates.
