본 연구는 대학생이 지각한 부와 모의 심리적 통제를 각각 구분하여 사회불안과의 관계에서 완벽주의적 자기제시와 내면화된 수치심의 순차적 매개효과를 검증하였다. 이를 위해 전국의 남녀 대학생을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였고, 총 213명의 자료를 SPSS 18.0과 AMOS 20.0 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부와 모의 심리적 통제는 사회불안에 직접적으로 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 부와 모의 심리적 통제와 사회불안의 관계를 완벽주의적 자기제시가 완전매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 부와 모의 심리적 통제와 사회불안의 관계를 내면화된 수치심이 완전매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 완벽주의적 자기제시와 사회불안의 관계에서 내면화된 수치심이 완전매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 부와 모의 심리적 통제와 사회불안의 관계를 완벽주의적 자기제시와 내면화된 수치심이 순차적으로 완전매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 여섯째, 부와 모의 심리적 통제의 영향력에는 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로, 연구의 의의와 시사점 그리고 제한점 및 후속 연구 방안을 제언하였다.
This study examined the sequential mediating effects of perfectionistic self-presentation and internalized shame in the relationship with social anxiety by dividing the psychological control of father and mother respectively perceived by college students. Online survey was conducted for college students across the country, and a total of 213 data were collected and analyzed using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 20.0 programs. The results are as follows. First, it was found that parental psychological control did not directly affect social anxiety. Second, it was found that perfectionistic self-presentation completely mediated the relationship between parental psychological control and social anxiety. Third, it was found that internalized shame fully mediated the relationship between parental psychological control and social anxiety. Fourth, it was found that internalized shame completely mediated the relationship between perfectionistic self-presentation and social anxiety. Fifth, it was found that perfectionistic self-presentation and internalized shame completely mediated the relationship between parental psychological control and social anxiety sequentially. Finally, there was no difference in the influence of father and mother’s psychological control. Based on the results, the significance and implications of the study, limitations, and follow-up research methods were suggested.
