This study explored the supervisor’s interventions in group supervision perceived as helpful by supervisees. For this purpose, 12 supervisees with more than 5 years of counseling experience were interviewed and the collected data were analyzed by Consensual Qualitative Research(CQR). As a result, 132 core concepts, 5 domains, and 17 categories were identified. Five domains emerged as ‘operation of group supervision’, ‘education on case-understanding and counseling progress’, ‘facilitating and utilizing group interaction’, ‘utilizing supervisor-supervisee relationship’, and ‘characteristics of supervisor’. The most prominent interventions of group supervisors recognized by supervisees are ‘encouraging group members to exchange feedback’, ‘educating in various ways’, ‘respecting individual supervisee as a human being and having continuous interest’. And in relation to the operation of group supervision, ‘structuring and creating a relaxing climate in a group format’ were confirmed, and regarding the characteristics of group supervisors, ‘wanting to help sincerely as a senior counselor who experienced in advance,’ ‘relaxed, humorous and expressive’ were identified. Based on the results of this study, it was compared with precedent study, and limitations and research tasks of supervisor’s interventions in group supervision in the future were discussed.
