After conceptualizing the reflective and reflexive perspectives that interpret 〈Baby-General〉, this paper examines the usefulness of the reflexive perspective on this legend and the educational method using the reflexive perspective.
Although not all of the existing 〈Baby-General〉 studies take a reflective view, it can be said that a number of studies have been conducted from that perspective. There are three possibilities for interpreting 〈Baby-General〉 with reflexive thinking, and (1) first, it is intended to change from the existing reflective method of reading the subject of instruction that is thick reality behind the text. At this time, it is possible to view that the text is not meaningful because it reflects a sense of resistance to reality, but that it is repeated intentionally or not. It is not to find meaning that transcends text, but to find the performance meaning of the story itself. (2) By viewing 〈Baby-General〉 as a reproduction of history, it may be possible to change to the existing reflective method that presupposes similarity between reality and text. This is possible by revealing that 〈Baby-General〉 has a framework of fictional narrative, not history, but a new perspective that sees what is not reproduced as meaningful because it is not reproduced. The non-representation of 〈Baby-General〉, "None," means "There is" anything, especially an unknown that has not suppressed anything. (3) In the existing 〈Baby-General〉 study, it can be confirmed that the arrival of the future is possible only through abalone. Reflexive thinking works when you ask if you can dream of implementing it in the future in a way that is not subversion or non-subversion. In 〈Baby-General〉, the future is a future "without -", and its implementation can come as a practice "without -". This will be a way to minimize the possibility of an unbearable life rather than maximizing the possibility of living.
Reflexive education on tragic narratives allows students to identify the fundamental assumptions, values, and methods that existing studies on this text seem to presuppose, and find ways to seek better behavior and practice. This is to consider the effects and results of the reflective interpretation so far (checking the premise or pattern). For example, starting with the expansion of bilateral confrontation or the premise of historical reality, it can proceed in three steps, from changing its direction (reading text in the nature of a fictional narrative) to applying new possibilities according to the converted direction to 〈Baby-General〉. Students can express their opinions at any stage, whether it's the first step in identifying premises or patterns, or the third step in applying new possibilities to text, all of which will be involved in breaking up the text and existing discussions.
