In this study, 31 graduating students of D Junior College in K city with the consent of research participation were randomly assigned to the the SFGAT program group(n=15) and wait-list control group(n=16). In both groups, the SFGAT was conducted 8 sessions in total, two sessions a week by 120 minute per session during the 4 weeks. The Vocational Identity scale, Career Adaptability scale, and Employment Stress scale were used as measurement tools. The effects the SFGAT were tested by using data collected at pre-post-follow-up through repeated measures ANOVA. First, SFGAT significantly improved the vocational identity of junior college prospective graduates, and the effect was maintained even after the post (8 weeks) test. Second, the SFGAT program significantly improved career adaptability of junior colleges prospective graduates, but the post-test (8 weeks) showed a slight decline in the effect. Third, the SFGAT alleviated the employment stress of junior college prospective graduates, and the effect was maintained even in the post-test (8 weeks). Finally, based on the results of the study, implications of the effect of the SFGAT and suggestions for future research on career counseling intervention to enhance vocational identity and career adaptability, and to mitigate employment stress in the university counseling practices were provided.
