Currently, with the increase in the development of eco-friendly vehicles, the development of body parts that are safe and lightweight has increased. The development of technology for body parts that can reduce weight and increase safety using aluminum and carbon fiber composite materials is actively underway. Car body parts using heterogeneous or composite materials have difficulties in securing productivity owing to their complex processes compared with conventional production methods. The TLP method, which complements this, is characterized by rapid curing of the resin and is suitable for the continuous production of body parts. In this study, an impact beam is manufactured using the TLP method, and the reliability and soundness of the analysis are evaluated using static stiffness analysis, dynamic stiffness analysis, drop impact analysis, and testing.
