In this study, we draw a plan to reform the curriculum for the 3rd and 4th year undergraduate courses of the Department of Korean Language at Myanmar University of foreign languages, in order to prepare for Korean language education after the revolution period in Myanmar. In the future education system of the National Unity Government (federal government), the role of foreign language universities are to provide comprehensive education such as culture, history, literature, economy, society, and language education to language studies such as Korean Studies, Japanese Studies, English Literature, etc. In post-revolutionary education, a new curriculum will be suitable for the federal government system is required. Therefore, in this study, a survey was conducted by the teachers who are participating in the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM), in order to reveal the strengths and weaknesses of the curriculum for 3rd and 4th year Korean major prescribed before 2021. Based on the results of the survey responses, we observed the strengths and weaknesses of the previous curriculum and propose three items required for reformation. First, curriculum education for teachers should be strengthened. Second, it is necessary to prepare a student-centered curriculum that receives education after the revolution education. Third, an individual linguistics curriculum that can contribute to national reconstruction should be prepared. The results of this study will be suitable for the education system of the federal integration government in the future and will serve as basic data for reorganizing the curriculum for Korean language major at University of Foreign Languages, where education is currently discontinued as usual, in Myanmar.
