Purpose: This study aims to reveal how career exploring support centers(CESCs), which are designed to promote career education in schools, operate in connection with the school curriculum. Design/methodology/data: Three CESCs with a highrate of cooperation in school curriculum development were selected as research cases. The study conducted a case study involving the staff of these centers and career guidance teachers in middle schools. Results: The results showed that compared to what previous research suggested, there are more diverse ways in which CESCs and school curriculum are connected. There was a commonality that the connections were based on the career education in the school curriculum. However, the way and scope of their connection varied depending on the institutional, human and physical conditions of the center. Value: The study showed that how CESCs operate in detail from the perspective of school curriculum connection.
