The purpose of this study is test to the structural relationships of perceptions of organizational politics , peer trust, knowledge hiding and turnover intention in the hotel industry.
To accomplish the study goals, a field survey was conducted on the employees working in the deluxe hotels in Seoul area. The statistical tools to be undertaken in this research were frequency analysis, correlation analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and covariance analysis using the statistical package of SPSS(18.0) and AMOS(18.0). The results of this study could be summarized as follows; First, perceptions of organizational politics has a negative effect on the level of hotel employees' peer trust. Second, perceptions of organizational politics has a positive effect on the level of hotel employees' knowledge hiding. Third, perceptions of organizational politics has a positive effect on the level of hotel employees' turnover intention. Fourth, peer trust has a positive effect on employees' knowledge hiding. Fifth, peer trust has a positive effect on employees' turnover intention. In the last chapter, the paper concludes with discussions and the managerial implications for the effective personnel policies.
