This study aimed to examine how special educators perceived the needs for support and the expectations of their collaborator roles when it came to positive behavioral supports, or PBS, which are used to intervene with aggressive behavior in students who have developmental impairments. 310 participants' information was gathered using an online survey in order to fulfill the study's objectives. The findings showed that there was a statistically significant difference between special education teachers' perceptions of the five PBS procedures' necessity and their actual use of them. Second, when implementing PBS, the stages of defining and observing challenging behavior (behavioral function analysis and hypothesis formulation), functional assessment and hypothesis testing (behavioral function analysis and classroom behavior observation), intervention planning (identifying student interests and concerns, developmental level, intervention planning), intervention implementation (meaningful activities, classroom rules, promotion systems, and alternative behaviors), and intervention evaluation and adjustment (behavioral data collection, classroom reflection) were the top 15 items that special education teachers needed support for. Third, teachers were seen as having the highest responsibility, and caregivers' and professionals' expectations varied depending on the stage of PBS, according to the expectations of parents, teachers, and professionals. We talked about and offered recommendations for the direction of assistance for PBS for the intervention of aggressive behavior in students with developmental impairments based on the study's findings.
