Wangchong (王充) presumes that Tian (天) is Jiran (自然) and Wuwei (無爲), and that it gives Qi (氣) without purpose. He explains that all things are created and grown under the Qi (氣) of Tian (天). However, Wangchong (王充) argues that Tian (天) and humans are not responsive to each other and are separate, and therefore do not affect each other. Nevertheless, this is only possible when it comes to a person's birth if the sky affects him or her. Wangchong (王充) explains that when the Tian (天)'s Qi (氣) condenses, an individual is born under the Qi (氣) of heaven and the stars.
The Ming (命) that Tian (天)'s Qi (氣) condensed so when a person is born, is formed, determines one’s wealth or poverty, and cannot be changed by individual efforts. Yet Wangchong (王充) argues that the same formed Xing (性), which determines the good and bad of the individual can turn an evil man into a good man through personal effort or a generous environment.
The writer wants to look at the Tian (天)'s nature in Wang Chung's claim. Wangchong (王充) argues that Tian (天) and Ren (人) should be perceived as separate beings. Furthermore, he claims that the reason why Tian (天) and Ren (人) are separated is because Tian (天) is Jiran (自然) and Wuwai (無爲) and Tian (天) give Ren (人) Tian (天)'s Qi (氣) without purpose.
Based on Wangchong (王充)'s argument, he argues that wealth and nature are determined within the realm of coincidence, apart from the inevitability of heaven grantings men Ming(命) and Xing (性). The possibility of edification of Xing (性) should be seen as implying the possibility of edification of Ming (命).
