The purpose of this study is to examine the research on Behavioral Skills Training (BST). The data were collected by searching the Scopus database for “behavior(al),” “skills,” and “training”, and the 491 collected data were analyzed using Biblioshiny in R Studio. The results of this study are as follows: First, research on BST has increased since 1973. The most relevant source was the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, and the most common subject area was psychology. The most relevant author was Miltenberger, and the most relevant affiliation was the University of South Florida. The most cited country was the United States of America, and the most globally cited document was Griffiths et al.(2004). Second, the most relevant words in the research on BST were BST, autism, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and parent training, and the trend topics were coaching, telehealth, virtual reality, and training. The co-word network showed the following focus interests: ASD, BST, HIV (human immunodeficiency virus), safety skills, and college students. The thematic map categorized BST, training, and safety skills as basic themes. The factor analysis showed clustering around BST, safety skills, and adolescents. Third, the United States of America was the most collaborative country in the world. This study can be used as a basis for BST research.
