초록보기

격벽 식 소음기는 권총의 격발 압력으로 인한 굉음을 억제하기 위해 사용되지만, 이때 발생하는 고압으로 인해 격벽의 변형이 발생할 수 있다. 격벽의 변형은 설계 단계에서 설정한 소음 감쇠 효과를 감소시키고, 소음기의 구조적 안정성을 저하시킬 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 격발 시 소음기의 소음 감쇠 효과와 격벽의 변형을 동시에 고려한 최적의 격벽 형상 설계 변수를 제시하려 한다. 설계변수는 격벽의 두께, 각도, 간격, 길이, 개수 총 5개를 설정하였으며, 3차원 유체-구조 연성해석을 통해 격발 후 시간에 따른 소음기 내부 압력 분포 해석을 수행하였다. 또한, 설계변수 조합에 따른 데시벨 감쇠 효과와 변형률을 비교 분석하고, 파라미터 스터디와 민감도 분석을 진행하였다. 연구 결과, 격벽의 각도, 두께 그리고 길이가 소음 감쇠 효과와 격벽의 변형률에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 주요 변수임을 확인하였다. 본 연구에서는 소음 감쇠 효과를 극대화하면서도 격벽의 구조적 안정성을 확보할 수 있는 설계 방향을 제시하였다.

The baffle-type silencer is used to suppress the loud noises generated by the firing pressure of a handgun. Nevertheless, the high pressures resulting from the firing process can deform the baffles, which may reduce the noise attenuation effect initially defined during the design phase and compromise the structural stability of the silencer. This study addressed this issue by proposing optimal design parameters for a baffle geometry that simultaneously considers the noise attenuation performance and baffle deformation during firing. Five design parameters were established: baffle thickness, angle, spacing, length, and quantity. A three-dimensional fluid-structure interaction (FSI) analysis was conducted to examine the internal pressure distribution within the silencer over time after discharge. In addition, the noise attenuation effects, measured in decibels, and deformation rates corresponding to various parameter combinations were compared and analyzed. A parameter study and sensitivity analysis were also performed. The results suggested that the baffle angle, thickness, and length are the most influential parameters affecting the noise attenuation performance and baffle deformation rate. This study presents a design approach that maximizes noise attenuation while ensuring the structural stability of the baffles.
