In an effort to devise countermeasures against the influence of WTO regulation and FTA between Korea and US, we surveyed 181 Korean cow farms in Yesan-gun area as to their opinions about breeding method, transplantation of fertilized eggs and their awareness of impact of FTA between Korea and US. What follows is the summary of our survey.

2. The average success rate of artificial insemination at the first try was 64.1%. The success rate of farmers who have over 10 years' experience was 60.0% and that of farmers with 16~20 years' experience was 67.3%.
