본 논문의 목적은 지역사회 계속거주에 대한 고령자의 인식과 수요를 조사하고, 고령자의 지역사회 계속거주 의향에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하는 것이다. 고령자 대상의 인식조사를 통해 지역사회 계속거주의 공간적 범위는 집보다는 확장된 범위인 지역사회라는 점과 고령자의 연령대와 거주지역에 따라 지역사회 계속거주 의향과 필요한 지원 서비스 등에 차이가 있음을 확인하였다. 이항로짓 회귀분석 결과, 지역사회 계속거주 의향에 영향을 미치는 요인은 연령, 거주형태, 거주기간, 거주지역 등으로 나타났다. 특히, 주택 만족도와 지역사회 만족도가 지역사회 계속거주 의향에 미치는 영향이 가장 큰 요인인 것으로 분석되었다. 본 논문의 결과는 향후 초고령사회를 대비하여 지역사회 기반의 고령자 계속거주 지원 정책을 수립하는 데 활용이 가능할 것이다.

This study aims to investigate the perception and demand of the elderly regarding Aging in Place (AIP) and to analyze factors affecting AIP willingness of the elderly. Through an AIP perception survey, this study confirmed that the spatial scope of AIP extends beyond the home to the community, and there were differences in AIP willingness and necessary support services depending on the age group and where they live. The binomial logit regression analysis showed home ownership status, length of residence, age, and area of residence directly impacted AIP willingness. In particular, housing and community satisfaction were the most critical factors influencing AIP willingness of the elderly. The results can be used to establish community-based support policies for AIP in the super-aged era.
