The most important Old Map of Ulleung－Do was ?Ulleungddo－Dohyeong(鬱陵島圖形)? made by Suto－Kwans(搜討官), Park Seokchang in 1711(Sukjong 37). The basic frame of this map was succeeded to ?Haedong－Jido(海東地圖)? ?Ulleung－Do?,?Choseon－Jido(朝鮮地圖)? ?Ulleung－Do?, Ulleung－Do of?Daedong－Yeojido(大東輿地圖)? , and was used till 250 years after. This was the first map which located Usan－Do(Dok－Do) correctly at the east of Ulleung－Do.

?Haedong－Jido(海東地圖)? ?Ulleung－Do? was described with more proper nouns than ?Ulleungddo－Dohyeong(鬱陵島圖形)?. It was because this map was described with the help of more maps and reports made by another Suto－Kwans(搜討官). ?Choseon－Jido(朝鮮地圖)? ?Ulleung－Do? and Ulleung－Do of ?Daedong －Yeojido(大東輿地圖)? used the grid and mountain－range, and Nari basin was expressed correctly. And through these, the cognition of Ulleung－Do was going to be wide.

?Ulleungdo－Oido(鬱陵島外島)? ?Ulleungdo－NaeDo(鬱陵島內島)? of Lee Gyuwon in 1882(Gojong 19) were different from the former maps that succeeded the basic frame of ?Ulleungddo－Dohyeong(鬱陵島圖形)?. ?Ulleungdo－Oido? described what was shown toward the Nari basin from the outside of the sea. ?Ulleungdo－NaeDo? described the mountains surrounding Nari basin. These maps used only proper nouns and described Nari basin as the center. Through these facts, the cognition of Ulleung－Do was going to be wide more concretely.
