The purpose of this study is to search for an efficient management way of self-training in school, by actually organizing and managing 'demand-reflected self-training team' after understanding what the current situation and what problem it has to accomplish this goal. Some specific approaches are suggested.

(1) To understand the current situation of self-training performed in each school.

(2) To analyze the differences in effect between 'demand-reflected self-training in school' and the general training methods.

(3) To propose efficient ways of management of self-training in school.

To activate these ideas, I analysed information obtained from 65 head teachers who are in charge of the department of research and training in each elementary school located in Chuncheon and Hongcheon areas. After that, a case study was performed with 37 teachers in Namsan elementary school in Hongcheon for the verification of effectiveness brought by 'demand-reflected self-training in school'.

The program SPSSWIN V12.0 was used to analyze current situation and utility of 'demand-reflected self training in school.' The results are as follows.

It was found that most schools were operating self-training programs in formal or lectured style. Therefore, it was reorganized here by the way of organizing and managing 'demand-reflected self-training team.' Some results were turned out below.

First, participants had fun and enjoyed taking the training, and became satisfied with the training, because they were learning a lot of useful skills applicable to the class with the students.

Second, they were pleased with their own demands reflected in training, and afterwards they were enthusiastic enough to practice skills obtained from training.

Three conclusions according to this case study are listed below.

First, training programs in school should be fun and interesting by reflecting the participants' demands. Those can be represented through answers to 'pre-survey for teacher's demands'.

Second, training has to attract participants' much interest and participation by operating it focusing on practice and technique within small-sized groups.

Third, training should be applicable to classes with students, and it is also desirable to invite some experts to school from various fields in society to enhance the quality of training.

Conclusively, to achieve all these improvements, educational administrators should supply schools with sincere support and leadership, and principals and vice-principals should have open mind to receive new kinds of management ways for self-training programs in school.
