 Following rapidly expansion of Chinese economic development, consumption of electricity in industry and household are growing in massive way. In the side of demand and supply of electric industry, producing electricity from building power plant is just a minimum part of it, More importantly, transports produced electricity to industrial place or household efficiently should be done in more weighted way. This study has a personal interest of transformer industry as a author's family industry in China. Also the author want to propose constructive suggestion to Chinese electric transformer industry which is in critical point as a part of national economy.

Firstly the author analyze the situation of Chinese electric transformer industry and found out a few very important observations which is very unique and peculiar only in China. Chinese electric transformer market is typical type of price competition market, but there is no market ostracization when the firm lose in the price competition. Naturally in a price oriented market and you lost in price competition you should be disappeared from the market. Chinese electric transformer market faced on the pressure of law material price surge, suffered from the structural inefficiency in marketing process, and over supply in production side.

Korean electric transformer industry is in the situation of 'Fish between rocks'. Korean electric transformer industry facing severe competition from advanced countries in Europe in the state of the art field, like ecological friendly, super high-voltage transformer manufacturing, and maintenance free transformers. Also from developing countries, there is a tough challenge in the field of basic low voltage electric transformer manufacture.

For a solution of this economic situation in China, small an medium sized companies should be M&A in horizontally or vertically to stopped bloody price competition. And local government should support research and development in financially.

Korean electric transformer industry should create a new market through concentrates in foreign markets and domestic maintenance market which exchange old transformer(older than 20years) with maintenance free and ecological friendly new electric transformers. In the mean time Korean industry should catch up the technology of advanced countries like basic architecture , drawing , and planning of fundamental skills of electric transformer manufacturing.
