본 연구의 목적은 발달장애아동들이 지역사회에서의 독립적인 삶에 필요한 생활기술의 향상을 위해 개발된 교육과정 관련 준거지향 검사도구의 신뢰도와 타탕도의 검증에 있다. 본 연구에서의 지역사회 생활기술은 “사회적 상호작용.”, “이동과 여행,” “시간관리,” “금전관리와 물건사기.” “지역사회 안전,” “지역사회 여가,” 그리고 “지역사회 참여”와 같은 7개의 하위영역(기술항목)으로 구성되어있다. 연구절차는 편의표집(convenience sampling)으로 선발한 생활연령이 3개월부터 18세 11개월까지인 876명의 발달장애 아동과 일반 아동을 대상으로 검사를 실시하였으며, 회수된 검사지 중 불성실하게 답한 검사지와 연령환산을 잘못 기재한 검사지를 제외한 총 805부가 최종 분석대상이 되었다. 총 261문항에 대한 Cronbach 알파(alpha) 계수는 0.84에서 0.98까지의 범위로 매우 높게 나타나 내적 일치도가 있음을 검증하였으며, Pearson 상관계수를 통한 생활연령과 기술항목과의 상호 연관성을 입증해 구성타당도를 검증하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine reliability and validity of Community Referenced Skill Checklist of adaptive behavior. In order to achieve the purpose of study, it was administered with 805 students including students with and without disabilities aged from 3 months through 18 years 11 months.

The results of this study are as follows. First, according to the results of reliability test, Cronbach alpha coefficient in 261 items and full scale respectively revealed 0.93 through 0.98 for students without disabilities and 0.84 through 0.97 for students with developmental disabilities. Second, according to the results of validity test, correlation coefficients varied between 0.28 and 0.74, averaging 0.52 for students without disabilities. A strong positive correlation was found among chronological age, social interaction, community safety, and money management and shopping. Correlation coefficients varied between 0.62 and 0.74, averaging 0.69. Therefore, reliability and validity of Community Referenced Skill Checklist were proven to be valid and reliable to use as an adaptive behavior scale of community living skill.
