초록보기

자살은 청소년들이 보이는 위험행동 중 가장 심각하고 부정적인 결과를 초래하며 전 세계적으로 청소년의 주요한 사망 원인 중의 하나이다. 청소년의 자살은, 꾸준히 증가 추세에 있으며 이에 많은 국가들이 청소년 자살을 심각한 문제로 인식하여 이에 대한 적극적인 노력을 기울이고 대처방안을 모색하고 있다. 청소년의 자살 행동에 대한 보다 정확한 이해를 위해서는 청소년 자살 행동에 영향을 미치는 위험 요인과 자살 행동의 예측과 평가 도구에 관한 고찰이 무엇보다 중요하다. 이는 청소년 자살의 예방을 위한 효과적인 프로그램의 개발에 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
