Paperless documentation and processing of international trade in goods is

essential, as it offers agility and economy-wide benefits in time and cost savings, efficiency and convenience for business and government. So, The Asia Region, under APEC, is making enormous efforts to facilitate Paperless Trade.

This paper describes the situation and characteristics of Paperless Trade among countries (Korea ; KTNET, China : China e-Port, China Customs and CIECC, Taipei ; TradeVan, Hong Kong ; TradeLink, Japan ; NACCS and TEDI and Singapore ; Trade-Net) in Asia. The main focus of this paper is to conduct comparative analysis with economy, trade volume, e-readiness, e-government, the characteristic of National Single Window among countries. The results are as follows ;

In case of Singapore, Singapore introduced paperless clearance which is regarded as Trade-Net in 1988. after that, All import and export customs clearance and permits are declared and approved electronically via Trade-Net. and The Trade-Net is being exported in other countries to be operated as a Value Added Network. As Another example, China has established a sound National Single Window system, which enables trade related data to be interchanged between government agencies. China Customs is very important role in operating Chin's Single Window. We should note that China and Singapore case.

So, To be successful National Single Window in Korea, We have to go export our Single Window system and master plan to go abroad like Singapore. and, it is important to establish close cooperation between nations. Korea's National Single Window can achieve best results in the simplification of procedures and cost savings when an international linkage(KTNET, NACCS and TEDI, TradeVan, Tradelink, TradeVan, China Customs and CIECC) is established. Next, Customs-related information should be shared between G-G and G-B in Korea.
