본 연구는 종단적 접근인 다층모형을 적용하여 청소년들의 진로성숙 변화 패턴을 추정하고 이 변화에 있어서 개인차에 대한 성별, 부모학력, 부모스트레스, 학업스트레스, 친구스트레스, 생활스트레스, 공격성, 우울의 효과를 검증하였다. 또한 스트레스, 공격성, 우울이 진로성숙 발달에 미치는 영향이 성별에 따라 달라지는가를 알아보았다. 이를 위해 한국청소년 패널조사(KYPS) 자료의 중3, 고1, 고2, 고3 총 4 년간의 종단 자료를 사용하였다. 연구결과, 중3에서 고3까지 4년간의 진로성숙 발달이 유의하게 증가하였으며 진로성숙의 초기치(중3)에 있어서 여학생일수록, 부모학력이 높을수록 진로성숙이 높았다. 시간의 흐름에 따라 증가하는 진로성숙의 변화율은 부모스트레스, 친구스트레스, 우울이 높을수록 그렇지 않은 경우보다 낮게 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 우울이 진로성숙에 미치는 영향에 있어 성별에 따라 차이가 존재하였는데 우울이 높은 남학생의 경우 여학생에 비해 큰 폭으로 진로성숙이 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구결과를 통한 연구의 시사점과 후속연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

In this study, we examined the pattern of change in adolescent career maturity and effect of gender, father and mother's educational background, stress, aggression, depression on growth of career maturity by using multilevel models. Interacting effects of gender on relations of career maturity with stress, aggression, depression were also scrutinized. A four year longitudinal data of the Korean Youth Panel Survey (KYPS) was employed. Results indicated that career maturity during four years linearly increased and the levels of career maturity at third grade of middle school were affected by gender and father and mother's educational background positively, Growth rates of career maturity were influenced by stress from parent, stress from friend, depression negatively. Interaction between gender and depression affected career maturity. Finally, the implications and limitations of the current study are discussed.
