본 연구의 목적은 늘어나는 청소년 범죄 이면에 내재되어 있는 우울과 분노를 미리 발견하여 청소년 범죄 예방에 도움이 되고자 청소년의 우울과 분노를 선별할 수 있는 도구로서 이야기그림검사(Draw-a-Story)의 유용성을 파악하는데 있다. 연구대상은 G소재지의 소년원에 있는 남학생과 I소재지의 인문계 남학생 178명이며, 연구도구는 Draw A Story 검사, Beck의 우울증 척도와 한국판 상태특성 분노 표현척도(STAXI-K)를 사용하였다. 자료 분석은 독립표본 t-test, 상관분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 나타난 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 우울, 특성분노 수준이 일반 남학생들에 비해 소년원생들이 높게 나타났다. 또한 분노표현 양식 중에서 분노억제는 집단 차이가 나타나지 않았지만, 분노표출은 소년원생들이 높게 나타났고, 분노통제는 일반 남학생들이 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 이야기 그림검사의 자극 선택 분석 결과, 설명이 없을 때 강조된 선택 도구는 두 집단 모두 낙하산이 1순위였는데, 설명을 고려했을 때 선택된 도구는 소년원생들은 칼, 낙하산 순이었고, 일반 남학생들은 낙하산, 중성적 아이 순이었다. 셋째, 두 집단의 우울, 특성분노, 분노표현과 이야기 그림검사 간의 관계 분석 결과, 두 집단 모두 정서내용은 자아상과, 우울은 특성분노 및 분노억제 표현 양식과 정적관계를 나타냈다.

The aim of this study is to understand the usefulness of the Draw-a-Story Test as a tool that can sort out depression and anger suffered by a youth in an effort to be helpful to the prevention of the ever increasing juvenile delinquency by discovering depression and anger inhering in the hidden side of juvenile crimes in advance The subjects of study were total 178 students; male students in juvenile hall located in G and male students in academic high school located in I. The research tools are Draw A Story, Beck's Depression inventory and STAXI-K. The data was analyzed by independent sample t-test and correlation analysis. The results are as follows. First, the study results revealed that a male student of a juvenile reformatory showed a higher level of depression and trait anger than a general male student. In addition, there wasn't a difference in anger-in among the styles of anger expression between groups, but a male student of a juvenile reformatory showed high anger-out whereas a general male student showed high anger-control. Second, as the analysis result of stimulus selection of the Draw-a-Story test, it was found that the emphasized selection tool in time of non-explanation was a parachute, which was ranked first in both groups, but the selected tool in time of considering an explanation was in the order of a knife and parachute in case of the male students of a juvenile reformatory while being in the order of a parachute and an androgynous child in case of the general male students. Third, as a result of the analysis of the relationship between depression, trait anger, and anger expression, and the Draw-a-Story test of the two groups, both groups all showed the positive relationship between emotion and self-image while showing the positive relationship between depression and the expression methods of trait anger & anger-in.
