이 연구의 목적은 생활체육참가자가 가진 스포츠가치관에 따라 참여만족과 운동지속의사에 어떠한 차이가 있는지를 알아보는데 있다. 연구대상은 서울, 경기 지역에서 생활체육에 참여하고 있는 참여자를 대상으로 하였으며, 자료수집은 편의표본추출법에 의해 수집되었고, 그 중 233부를 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21.0을 사용하여 빈도분석, 상관관계, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 참여자의 스포츠가치관 중 품성적 가치관, 신체적 가치관, 심리적 가치관, 사교적 가치관이 참여만족에 정적으로 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 운동지속의사에는 품성적 가치관, 심리적 가치관, 오락적 가치관, 신체적 가치관이 정적으로 영향을 미쳤다.
