연구 목적: 본 연구는 발달장애인 자녀를 둔 부모의 장애수용이 부모의 삶의 만족에 미치는 영향으로 가족역량강화의 매개역할을 검증하기 위한 연구이다.

연구 방법: 발달장애인 부모 146명을 대상으로 1:1 설문조사로 진행하고 SPSS 25.0 프로그램을 활용하여 통계분석을 실시하였다.

연구 내용: 매개효과분석은 Baron & Kenny의 매개효과 회귀분석과 Sobel test를 활용하였다.

결론 및 제언: 본 연구를 통하여 첫째, 발달장애인 자녀를 둔 부모의 장애수용이 부모의 삶의 만족을 높이는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 발달장애인 자녀를 둔 부모의 장애수용이 가족역량강화를 높이는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 발달장애인 자녀를 둔 부모의 장애수용은 가족역량강화를 매개로 부모의 삶의 만족을 높이는 것으로 확인되었다. 발달장애인 자녀를 둔 부모의 삶에 대한 만족 증진을 위하여 연구결과를 토대로 부모의 장애수용과 가족역량강화를 증진하기 위한 실천적 방안을 제시하였다.

This study attempted to verify the mediating effect of family competency strengthening as the effect of parents’ acceptance of disabilities with children with developmental disabilities on their parents’ life satisfaction. The subjects of the study were 146 parents with developmental disabilities, and a 1:1 survey was conducted and statistically analyzed using the SPSS 25.0 program. For the mediating effect analysis, Barron & Kenny’s mediating effect regression analysis and Sobel test were conducted. As a result of the study, the acceptance of disabilities by parents with children with developmental disabilities had a significant effect on parents’ life satisfaction and family competency. In addition, the partial mediating effect of family competency enhancement was confirmed between disability acceptance and life satisfaction. As a result of the study, institutional efforts and practices in the development and operation of disability acceptance psychological programs are required to enhance the life satisfaction of parents with children with developmental disabilities.
