중국의 사회 경제적 능력과 수준이 비약적으로 발전함에 따라 사람들은 개인의 미학적 지식과 수양에 점점 더 많은 관심을 기울이고 있다. 고대의 미술교육은 주로 '사제식' 미술교육과 '서당식' 미술교육이었다.. 현대의 미술교육은 학교 교육을 주체로 하여 다양한 시기의 미술 사상을 요약하고 혁신함으로써 사회 발전의 요구에 부합하는 미적 감각과 인식을 향상시켜나가고 있다. 이에 따라 미술 교육의 발전 또한 점차 종합화되는 추세이다. 다음 세대를 양성하여 더 나은 미술교육의 여건을 형성하려면 중국 미술 교육 사상을 계승하고 발전시키는 것이 매우 중요하다. 본고는 중국 현대 미술 교육 사상의 계승 발전의 필요성 각도에서 출발하여, 미술 교육사 연구를 토대로 중국 현대 미술 교육 사상을 분석하고, 동시에 중국 각 시기의 미술 교육 사상의 주요 계승 발전 궤적에 대해 논술하였으니 수요자에게 참고 자료로 제공되기 바란다.
