초록보기

본고의 목적은 조지아오키프(Georgia O'Keeffe) 작품에 나타난 모티브의 선적 특성과 컬러를 활용하여환타지메이크업을 일러스트레이션으로 나타냄으로써 뷰티디자인의 창의적인 표현 영역을 확대할 수 있는 기초적인 토대를 마련하는데 있다. 연구방법은 이론적 연구와 실증적 연구를 병행하였다. 이론적 연구에서는 선행연구와 전문자료를 통해 환타지메이크업의 특성과 조지아오키프의 생애 및 작품을 살펴보았고, 실증적 연구를 위해서는 조지아오키프의 작품을 분석하고 해당 모티브로 하여 환타지메이크업 디자인을 일러스트로 창작하였다. 연구결과, 조지아 오키프의 Autumn Tree-The Maple 작품에 나타난나무 뿌리의 블랙 파상선을 모티브로 하여 생명감이 강조되도록 변형하거나 단순화시켜서 표현하였다.

Red Canna 작품에서는 꽃잎의 반복되는 컬러를 모티브로 하여 회귀하는것이라 해석하여 단순화 시켰다. Music-Pink and Blue 작품에서는 음악적 율동성을 모티브로 하여 확대되는 파장을 강조하기 위해유사색상과 파상선으로 하여금 넓게 퍼지듯 어우러지도록 표현하였다.
