이 연구의 목적은 중학교 시기의 체험활동 만족도, 공동체 의식, 학교적응과 고등학교 시기의 삶의 만족도 간의 종단적 관계를 다변량 잠재성장분석을 통해 검증하고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 한국아동·청소년 패널조사(KCYPS) 데이터 중 중학교 1학년부터 고등학교 3학년까지의 자료인 1차년도 ~ 6차년도 종단 자료를 활용해 분석하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 중학생 시기 체험활동 만족도 초기값이 고등학생 시기 삶의 만족도 초기값에 미치는 영향력에서 공동체 의식 초기값은 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 중학생 시기 체험활동 만족도 초기값이 고등학생 시기 삶의 만족도 초기값에 미치는 영향력에서 학교적응의 초기값은 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 연구의 시사점, 제한점 및 후속연구를 위한 제언을 하였다.
