본 연구는 중학교 특수학급 발달장애학생을 대상으로 교육연극을 활용한 진로탐색 프로그램을 통해 진로설계 변화 과정이 어떠한지 살펴보았다. 연구 방법은 질적연구 방법 중에서도 질적 내용 분석 방법을 통해 이루어졌다. 본 프로그램은 2022년 9월부터 12월까지 한 학기 동안 창의적 체험활동 시간을 활용하여 16회기에 걸쳐 진행되었다. 자료수집은 참여자들의 활동자료, 연구자 관찰 일지, 비디오 촬영자료, 특수교사 참여일지, 연구자 반성적 저널을 통해 이루어졌고, 이 자료를 통합적으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 교육연극 활용 진로탐색 프로그램을 통해 발달장애중학생들이 자신의 감정과 생각을 자유롭게 표현하고 사회적 상호작용을 경험하며 자신의 잠재력을 발견하고 자신감을 키울 기회를 얻었다. 본 연구의 이러한 결과를 통해 향후 교육연극과 같은 다양한 활동을 통해 발달장애중학생들의 역량과 가능성을 탐색하는 진로와 직업교육을 보다 효과적으로 지원할 수 있길 기대한다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the change process of career planning in the career exploration program using educational drama for middle school special education students with developmental disabilities. For this purpose, a qualitative content analysis a type of qualitative research was performed. This program was conducted for 16 sessions using creative experiential activity classes on a semester from September to December, 2022. Data were collected through subjects' activity sheet, researcher observation log, video footage, special education teacher participation logs, and researcher reflective journals and comprehensively analyzed. The results of the study showed that the career exploration program using educational drama was an opportunity for middle school special education students to freely express their feelings and thoughts, experience social interaction, discover their potential, and improve their confidence. The results of this study are expected to contribute to more effective support for career and vocational education, through various activities such as educational plays, that explores the capabilities and potential of middle school students with developmental disabilities.
