Through this basis, I tried to present an new approach for erudite-elegant style to the literary world in the late Choseon.

Firstly, I outlined the definition and aspect on the concept of the Wuzhong’s erudite-elegant style in the 16th century the Ming dynasty. Subsequently, inspected encounters of Wuzhong’s literati with the erudite-elegant style and the Choseon’s literary world, the encounter was through their official and the only way of which both Choseon’s and Ming’s literati met and interacted, as activities of envoy and diplomatic missionaries. Finally, analyzed the conditions with focusing on the works of Shishuo-style written by the Wuzhong literati.
