1960-1970년대에 한국의 성경구락부 운동은 교회학교 운동에서 지역사회학교 운동으로 전환되는 양상을 보인다. 본 연구는 세 가지 점에 중점을 두었다. 첫째, 1960-1970년대 한국사회의 변화와 성경구락부 운동의 변화 양상들을 살펴보았다. 둘째, 성경구락부를 지역사회별로 구분하여 성경구락부의 교육내용을 고찰하였다. 끝으로 이 시기 지역사회에 끼친 성경구락부 교육의 기여를 살펴보았다.

이 시기 성경구락부는 지역사회의 변천에 따라 하나의 교회를 중심으로 학교가 세워졌다. 교회와 성경구락부는 지역을 기반으로 하여 구락부-학교-지역-교회가 일체가 되는 구조를 형성하고 있다. 구락부 학교는 지역사회가 필요로 하는 공민적 시민양성을 목적으로 하였다. 농(어)촌지역 성경구락부, 산업 및 공단지역 성경구락부, 특수사회 성경구락부의 사례들은 지역사회의 개발과 밀접한 연관성을 가지고 지역사회학교 운동으로 전개되었음을 알 수 있다.

In the 1960s and 1970s, the Bible Club movement in Korea shifted from church school activities to community school activities. This study emphasizes three main points: first, it examines the changes in Korean society and the corresponding changes in the Bible Club movement during the 1960s and 1970s. Second, it analyzes the educational contents of Bible Clubs by categorizing them according to different communities. Finally, it investigates the contributions of Bible Club education to the communities during this period.

During this period, Bible Club schools were established around central churches in response to changes in the local communities. The church and the Bible Club are based in the local area, forming a structure where the Bible Club, school, community, and church are integrated into one entity. The goal of these Bible Club schools was to cultivate civic-minded citizens needed by the community. Examples of Bible Club schools in rural areas, industrial and factory regions, and special social contexts show that they were closely connected to community development and evolved into community school movements.
