이 연구는 정권별 정부PR을 비교하기 위해 박근혜 정부와 문재인 정부에서 활용한 SNS의 주요 요인을 비교 분석한 뒤, 정부PR에 대한 만족도에 따른 효과 차이를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, SNS를 활용한 정부PR의 중요 요인 8개 모두 문재인정부의 정부PR이 박근혜 정부 시절보다 더 긍정적인 평가를 받고 있었다. 그리고박근혜 정부와 문재인 정부의 평가 모두 신속성과 정보성에 대해 가장 긍정적인평가를 받고 있었지만, 신뢰성과 상호통제성은 두 정권 모두 가장 부정적인 평가를 받고 있었다. 다음으로 정부PR 만족도 따라 SNS를 활용한 정부PR의 차이는정부PR에 대해 만족도가 높을수록 SNS를 활용한 정부PR에 대해 긍정적으로 평가하였다. 정부PR에 만족, 보통, 불만족한 국민들 모두 신속성, 정보성을 가장 긍정적으로 평가하고 있으며, 신뢰성, 상호통제성을 가장 부정적으로 평가하고 있었다.
