본 연구는 초․중등 신규교사의 수업설계․실행 및 학생평가에 영향을 미치는 핵심역량이 무엇인지 규명하고, 그 영향력을 분석하는데 주요한 목적이 있다.

이를 위해 서울교원종단연구 2020의 1차년도 자료 가운데 교직경력 5년 미만의 교사 621명(초등 264명, 중등 357명)을 분석대상으로 하였다. 주요 변인은 교사의 핵심역량인 창의성, 비판적사고, 의사소통, 협업과 수업설계․실행 및 학생평가이며, 자료 분석을 위해 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 초등 신규교사의 수업설계․실행에는 협업역량과 의사소통역량이 유의한 정적영향을 미쳤으며, 학생평가에는 협업역량과 비판적사고역량이 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 중등 신규교사의 경우 수업설계․실행에 창의성역량과 의사소통역량 및 협업역량이 유의한 영향을 미치며, 학생평가에는 창의성역량과 협업역량이 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 학교급과 교사의 수업과 평가에 모두 협업역량이 주요한 요인으로 확인되었다. 신규교사의 전문성 발휘에 가장 일관되고 강력한 영향을 미치는 핵심요인임을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과는 신규교사의 수업 및 평가 전문성 신장을 위해 협업 중심의 전문적 학습공동체 구축이 필수적임을 시사한다. 이를 위해 예비교사 양성과정에서의 시사점 및 제도적 지원을 위한 방향을 제언하였다.
