본 연구는 마르셀 모스(Marcel Mauss)의 ‘몸의 테크닉(techniques du corps)’ 이론을 해석의 렌즈로 삼아, 서로 다른 신체문화가 교류하는 교육 현장에서 나타나는 신체적 학습과 문화적 체현의 과정을 실천가 민족지(practitioner ethnography)의 틀로 탐구하였다. 연구자는 우즈베키스탄 국립예술문화대학교에서 교수이자 참여자로 장기 몰입하며, 수업일지·교수메모· 리허설 기록 등 총 30건(약 120시간)을 수집하였다. Reeves 등(2008)의 9차원기록 체계를 무용 연구의 특성에 맞게 확장하고, Forsey(2010)의 참여적 경청(participant listening)과 반성적 기술을 통해 자료를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, (1) 한국적 훈련 체계와 우즈베크 신체감각의 차이가 문화적 ‘몸의 기술’ 로 식별되었으며, (2) 교수자와 학습자 간의 상호작용 속에서 새로운 신체질서가 형성되었고, (3) 이러한 체현 과정은 교육 현장을 문화 간 이해와 공존을 학습하는 장으로 전환시켰다. 본 연구는 무용교육을 신체문화의 교류와재구성의 공간으로 재정의하며, 스포츠인류학의 수행·규율·체현 논의를 다문화적 교육 맥락으로 확장한다.
