시스템 클럭 불안정에 따른 레이다 클러터 과다시현 현상 분석 및 자가진단 로직 적용 연구 = Analysis of excessive radar clutter caused by system synchronization signal instability and application of self-diagnostic logic
This study analyzes the phenomenon that occurs when a radar’s system clock becomes unstable and proposes a self-diagnosis technique for early detection. Radar systems feature built-in self-diagnostic functions that monitor failures in key hardware and software components. However, if the system clock remains faulty, it can detect a failure; however, if the failure occurs momentarily, then it cannot be detected. System-clock instability can result in abnormalities, such as degraded detection performance and clutter overdisplay during radar operation. Hence, we utilize a technique that monitors calibration data in real time to diagnose faults. The proposed technique improves radar operation stability and maintenance efficiency v ia the early detection o f system-clock instability.
