본 논문은 인공지능(AI)이 빠르게 확산되는 시대에 기독교 공동체가 어떤 변화와 도전에 직면하고 있는지를 살펴보고, AI를 공동체 회복에 도움이되는 도구로 사용할 수 있는 방향을 제안한다. 예배·교육·돌봄·선교·행정 등교회의 여러 영역은 AI로 인해 새로운 가능성을 얻고 있다. 예배 접근성 향상, 맞춤형 교육, 고립 성도 발견, 지역사회 분석, 행정 부담 감소 등이 그 예이다. 그러나 동시에 성례의 실제성 약화, 관계의 얕아짐, 신앙의 파편화, 인간 존엄성 훼손 등 주의해야 할 위험도 존재한다.

본 논문은 이러한 상황 속에서 기독교 공동체가 지켜야 할 핵심 원칙으로하나님 중심성, 삼위일체적 관계, 인간 존엄성, 공동체성 강화, 책임 있는 기술 사용을 제시한다. 결론적으로 AI는 교회의 본질을 대신할 수 없지만, 신학적 분별력을 가지고 사용할 때 공동체 회복을 돕는 유익한 도구가 될 수있다.

This study examines how artificial intelligence (AI) is changing the life of Christian communities and explores ways AI can support the renewal of church life. AI influences many areas of ministry—such as worship, education, pastoral care, mission, and administration—by offering new opportunities like improved accessibility, personalized learning, early detection of isolated members, and reduced administrative workload. At the same time, AI brings potential risks, including weaker sacramental participation, shallow relationships, fragmented faith, and threats to human dignity.

This study suggests five key principles for the church in the AI era: keeping God at the center, valuing Trinitarian relationships, protecting human dignity, strengthening communal life, and using technology responsibly. AI cannot replace the essence of the church, but with wise and discerning use, it can become a helpful tool for rebuilding Christian community.
