As the need for leisure activities expanded along with economic development, culture began to establish itself as an important factor in personal value realization. As a result of these changes, the demand for cultural activities is increasing, and the need to create an environment where anyone can easily enjoy culture in daily lives is growing. Therefore the cultural arts center has achieved quantitative growth since 1997 through the '1 local government 1 arts center' policy, but has not achieved qualitative growth. Accordingly, cultural arts spaces have recently been transformed into complex cultural spaces that combine various functions, and spaces. In This study aims to analyze cases of complex cultural arts centers planned to date, identify the spatial composition and characteristics of the complex cultural arts centers, and suggest architectural directions for the complex cultural arts centers that will become 'cultural hubs' that provide various cultural activities centered around performance halls.
