본 연구는 글로벌 애니메이션 콘텐츠인 ‘케이팝데몬헌터스(K-pop Demon Hunters)’를 중심으로 한국 전통문화의 재현 방식과 그 교육적 가치를 분석하였다. 이 콘텐츠는 K-pop이라는 현대적 문화 코드와 무속신앙, 민화, 전통 회화, 전통 건축, 전통 복식 등 한국의 전통문화 요소를 창의적으로 융합하여, 시청자에게 문화적 몰입과 감정적 공감을 유도한다. 본 연구는 콘텐츠 분석 방법을 통해 시각적, 서사적 요소를 분류하고, 문화적 상징성과 교육적 함의를 도출하였다. ‘케데헌’은 K-팝과 전통문화의 융합 및 트랜스미디어 스토리텔링을 통해 전통문화의 현대적 해석을 실현하고 있으며, 이는 문화 전승의 새로운 가능성을 제시한다. 또한 문화적 정체성과 문화 자긍심 향상, 창의적 사고와 문화 재해석 능력, 자아 성장과 가치관 형성 등 다양한 교육적 가치를 가지고 있으며, 특히 청소년층의 한국 전통문화에 대한 긍정적 인식 함양에 기여한다.

This study analyzed the expression methods and educational value of Korean traditional culture in the context of the global animated content 《K-pop Demon Hunters》. The content creatively fuses elements of traditional Korean culture, such as shamanistic beliefs, folk paintings, traditional architecture, and attire, with modern cultural codes, like K-pop. This fusion induces cultural immersion and emotional empathy in viewers. Through content analysis, this study classified visual and narrative elements to derive cultural symbolism and educational implications. 《K-pop Demon Hunters》 realizes a modern interpretation of traditional culture through the fusion of K-Pop and traditional culture and transmedia storytelling, suggesting new possibilities for cultural transmission. It also has various educational values, such as enhancing cultural identity and pride, creative thinking and cultural reinterpretation skills, self-growth, and value formation, and especially contributes to fostering a positive perception of Korean traditional culture among young people.
