본 연구는 청소년의 또래 소외와 음란물 몰입 간의 관계에서 우울과 스마트폰 중독의 매개효과를 살펴보았다. 연구를 위해 대구시, 경상북도 그리고 경상남도에 소재한 중학교와 고등학교에 재학 중인 청소년 456명을 대상으로 온라인과 오프라인 설문을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 청소년의 우울과 스마트폰 중독의 매개효과를 살펴보기 위해 AMOS Ver.26을 활용하여 구조방정식 모형을 설정하고 부트스트래핑을 통해 간접효과의 유의성을 확인하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청소년의 또래 소외는 음란물 몰입에 직접적으로 정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 청소년의 또래 소외가 우울을 매개하여 음란물 몰입에 미치는 간접적인 영향은 유의미하지 않았다. 셋째, 청소년의 또래 소외가 스마트폰 중독을 매개하여 음란물 몰입에 미치는 간접적인 영향은 유의미하지 않았다. 마지막으로 청소년의 또래 소외가 우울과 스마트폰 중독을 순차적으로 매개하여 음란물 몰입에 미치는 간접적인 영향은 유의미하였다. 이러한 결과는 청소년의 음란물 몰입이 단순한 개인적 호기심이나 충동적 행동의 결과가 아니라, 사회적 관계의 결핍과 그로 인한 정서적, 행동적 취약성이 복합적으로 작용한 결과임을 시사한다.

This study examined the sequential mediating effects of depression and smartphone addiction on the effects of peer alienation on pornography addiction in adolescents. Data were collected through online and offline surveys with 456 adolescents attending middle and high schools in Daegu, Gyeongsangbuk-do and Gyeongsangnam-do Province. To examine mediation effects, a structural equation model was constructed using AMOS Ver. 26 and bootstrapping was used to confirm the significance of indirect effects. The main findings of this study are as follows: First, peer alienation among adolescents was found to have a significant positive effect on pornography addiction. Second, the effect of peer alienation on pornography consumption through depression was not significant. Third, the effect of peer alienation on pornography consumption through smartphone addiction was not significant. Finally, peer alienation in adolescents was found to sequentially mediate depression and smartphone addiction, thereby influencing their addiction in pornography. These results suggest that adolescent addiction in pornography is not simply a result of personal curiosity or impulsive behavior, but rather a complex interaction of a lack of social relationships and the resulting emotional and behavioral vulnerabilities.
