본 연구는 增修譜인 ｢再校添修淸州韓氏族譜｣가 지니는 특징을 밝히는 논문이다. ｢재교첨수청주한씨족보｣는 淸州韓氏 문중이 출간한 두 번째 족보로서 ｢재교첨수청주한씨족보｣가 간행된 1704년은 부계 혈연 사상이 완전히 정착한 시기이다. ｢재교첨수청주한씨족보｣는 증보수정본이라는 특징과 더불어 同姓譜로 간행된 청주한씨 문중의 初刊譜인 ｢淸州韓氏世譜｣와는 다르게 외손까지 수록하고 있는 內外子孫譜의 형태를 지니고 있다.

본 연구에서는 청주한씨 문중의 초간보인 ｢청주한씨세보｣와 증수보인 ｢재교첨수청주한씨족보｣를 서지학적 방법론을 통해 비교하였으며, 비슷한 시기에 간행된 他姓 족보와도 분석을 시도하였다. 그 결과 ｢재교첨수청주한씨족보｣는 ｢청주한씨세보｣와 공통된 체제인 后妃世系와 跋文을 수록하고 있으나 새로 판각하여 간행한 것을 확인하였다. 또한 비슷한 시기에 간행된 다른 족보들에서 나타나는 여러 특징들이 ｢재교첨수청주한씨족보｣에서도 확인되고 있으며, 따라서 ｢재교첨수청주한씨족보｣는 당시 족보가 간행되던 여러 사회적 제반에 편승하여 만들어졌음을 파악할 수 있었다.

This study aims to elucidate the characteristics of the Jaegyocheomsucheongjuhanssijokbo, a revised and enlarged edition of the Cheongju Han clan’s genealogy. As the second genealogy published by the clan, it was issued in 1704, a period when the ideology of patrilineal kinship had become fully established.

Distinct from the Cheongjuhanssisebo—the first edition published strictly as an agnatic genealogy— the Jaegyocheomsucheongjuhanssijokbo takes the form of a comprehensive genealogy (naewoejasonbo) that includes maternal descendants (descendants through daughters).

This study compares the clan’s first edition, Cheongjuhanssisebo, with the Jaegyocheomsucheongjuhanssijokbo using bibliographical methodologies, while also conducting a comparative analysis with genealogies of other clans published during the same period. The results confirm that while the Jaegyocheomsucheongjuhanssijokbo retains the structural elements of the first edition—such as the inclusion of the Queen’s lineage and the original postscripts—it was produced through a newly engraved printing process.

Furthermore, the characteristics observed in other contemporary genealogies are also present in this text. Thus, it can be concluded that the Jaegyocheomsucheongjuhanssijokbo was produced in alignment with the prevailing social conditions and trends regarding genealogy publication at that time.
