본 연구는 인공지능(AI)1) 기술이 영상제작의 자동화 과정에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 그 속에서 인간 창작자의 창의성이 어떤 방식으로 작동하며, AI 시스템과의 협업이 새로운 미학적 가능성을 제시하는지를 탐구하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 최근 영상 제작 현장에서는 시나리오 작성, 촬영, 편집, 색보정, 사운드 디자인 등 다양한 과정에 AI 기술이 도입되고 있으며, 이러한 변화는 제작 효율성을 높이는 동시에 창작 주체의 개념을 재정의하고 있다.

본 논문은 특히 AI 영상 생성 툴(예: Runway2), Pika Labs3), Sora4), Kaiber5) 등)의 실제 활용 사례를중심으로 분석하였다. 이를 통해 AI 기반 자동화가 단순히 인간의 노동을 대체하는 것을 넘어, 창작자의 사고와 감각을 확장시키는 도구로 기능하는 것을 확인하였다.

연구 결과, AI는 영상제작의 초기 단계(아이디어 발상 및 콘티 구성)에서는 창작자에게 빠른 발상과 실험의기회를 제공하고, 후반 단계(편집·색보정)에서는 반복 작업의 부담을 줄여 결과물의 완성도를 높이는 역할을수행한다. 그러나 동시에 알고리즘 기반의 ‘유사 창작’이 진정한 예술적 창의성을 희석시킬 위험도 내포하고있음을 지적하였다.

결론적으로 본 연구는 AI 기반 영상제작의 자동화는 창의적 표현을 위축시키는 것이 아니라, 오히려 새로운 형태의 협업적 예술 생산을 가능하게 하는 패러다임 전환의 과정으로 해석될 수 있음을 제안한다.
