The current study explores how Luke-Acts presents Jesus as the eschatological Adam through distinctive narrative and theological strategies.

Through an analysis of key Lukan passages—especially the genealogy (Luke 3:38), positioned between the baptism and temptation narratives—this article argues that Luke constructs Jesus as the obedient “Son of God” whose obedience restores Adam’s lost vocation. Through an intertextual reading of Luke 1:35, 3:38, and Acts 17:26-28, this paper demonstrates how Luke’s theology integrates creation, incarnation, and mission into a coherent framework of Adamic theology. Engaging with scholars who both affirm and deny ‘Adamic Christology,’ it offers fresh insights into Luke’s contribution to evangelical theology by presenting salvation as the restoration of true humanity in Christ.
