본 연구는 유아권리 이해 및 실천을 위한 교사교육 프로그램을 개발하여 적용한 후, 최종 프로그램을 도출하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 ADDIE 모형 단계(분석, 설계, 개발, 실행, 평가)에 따라 프로그램을 개발하였다. 분석 단계에서는 문헌연구를 진행하였고, 현직유아교사를 대상으로 면담과 설문을 통해 프로그램의 필요성과 요구를 파악하였다. 설계 단계에서는 교육목표, 교육내용, 교수학습방법, 운영방법을 구체화하였다. 개발 단계에서는 프로그램 시안을 개발하고 교수학습자료와 매체를 선정한 뒤 예비연구와 전문가 검토를 통해 수정·보완하였다. 실행 단계에서는 현직유아교사 7명을 대상으로 프로그램 시안을 적용하였고, 평가 단계에서는 실행 결과를 분석하여 내용과 운영상의 개선점을 반영함으로써 최종 프로그램을 완성하였다. 완성된 프로그램은 총 15차시로 구성되었으며, 플립러닝을 기반으로 강의ㆍ사례나눔ㆍ토의ㆍ개별실습 등 다양한 교수학습방법을 활용하였다. 본 연구는 유아권리교육 프로그램을 개발ㆍ적용함으로써 유아교사 대상 권리교육이 나아갈 방향을 제시하고, 현직 유아교사를 대상으로 한 교육의 방법과 운영에 대한 구체적 시사점을 제공하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
