본 연구의 목적은 시각장애 아동의 발달 특성과 정서,사회적 상호작용의 어려움에 주목하고, 음악치료 장면에서 사용할 수 있는 도구를 검토하고 임상적 적용 가능성을 탐색하는데 있다. 본 연구에서는 음악치료 장면에서 사용되는 평가 도구 중 특히 관계 질 평가도구(AQR)의 이론적 배경과 평가체계, 관계발달 모드에 관련된 문헌고찰 및 실제 시각장애아동 사례분석을 통해 그 적용 가능성을 탐색하였다. 음악치료 사례분석 결과, AQR은 신체, 발성, 악기사용, 정서표현 등 다양한 행동양식을 시각장애 아동의 발달 수준에 따라 평가하며, 치료자의 조율 수준까지 함께 평가할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 시각장애아동 대상 음악치료의 평가 영역을 확장하고, 향후 평가체계의 개발을 위한 기초자료를 제공한 점에서 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study was to focus on the developmental characteristics of children with visual impairment and their difficulties in emotional and social interaction, and to examine assessment tools applicable to music therapy settings while exploring their clinical applicability. This study specifically examined the Assessment of the Quality of Relationship (AQR), one of the assessment tools used in music therapy, through a review of its theoretical background, assessment framework, and relationship development modes, along with a case analysis of a child with visual impairment. The results of the music therapy case analysis indicated that the AQR enables the evaluation of various behavioral modalities—such as bodily engagement, vocalization, use of musical instruments, and emotional expression—according to the developmental level of children with visual impairment, while also allowing for the assessment of the therapist's level of attunement. This study is significant in that it expands the scope of assessment in music therapy for children with visual impairment and provides foundational data for the future development of assessment frameworks.
