본 논문은 시(詩)를 주매체로 활용하고 있는 “시치료”에 라캉의 정신분석적 이론을 도입할 수 있는 핵심 요소를 밝혀보고자 하며, 시가 본질적으로 내포하고 있는 정신분석적 기능과 어떤 작용의 원리가 시치료를 가능하게 하는지를 고찰하여 “라캉정신분석 시치료”의 실천론을 구축하는 이론적 기초를 마련하고자 한다.

정신분석적 시치료의 핵심은 시의 기본 요소인 은유, 상징, 이미지, 리듬의 어떤 힘이 시적 분석주체(analysand)의 무의식에 임팩트를 주게 되고 의식화하며 기호로 재현하게 하는지, 시와 시적공간을 통한 시치료사와 시적주체간의 어떤 정신분석적 상호작용이 이루어져 욕망하는 주체가 자기 삶의 주인이 되는 주체화가 이루어지는지 그 과정을 명료하게 밝혀 주는 것이다.

이는 시적 분석주체(analysand)의 내면에서 긴밀하게 역동하는 것들과 언술된 기표들은 라캉의 관점에서 상상계와 상징계, 상징계와 실재계 간의 충돌이며, 라캉 정신분석적 시치료는 시적(분석)주체가 상상계를 벗어나 상징계로의 진입과 상징계 속의 실재계로 향하게 하여, 분석의 목표인 주체화 가 가능하도록 한다. 따라서 정신분석적 시치료의 과정에서 시적 분석주체가 스스로의 규범과 질서를 가진 새로운 주체의 재탄생을 의미하는 것이며, 실존적 불안을 안고 사는 현대인의 존재방식을 찾아가는 과정이자 시를 잃어버린 메마른 시대에 미학적 인간성의 회복을 구현하는 일이기도하다.

This paper attempts to clarify critical factors that help integrate Lacan's Psychoanalytical theories into "Poetry Therapy", which exploits poetry as its primary medium. In addition, some psychoanalytical functions inherent in poetry, as well as the mechanism by which such therapy becomes possible are also examined in an effort to provide theoretical basis to establish practice of "Lacan's Psychoanalytical Poetry Therapy."

The core of psychoanalytical Poetry Therapy is to explicitly explain what force from basic poetic factors such as metaphor, symbol, image, and rhythm has impacts on the poetic analysand's subconscious, raise consciousness, and cause them to represent those impacts by symbols, as well as interactions between the poetic analysand and Poetrytherapist through the poem and Poetic Space where the desiring subject actually identifies with the subject of life.

From the stand point of Lacan, the inner entities of analysand that show dynamic movements with intimate connection to one another and the discussed signifier are the collision between the imaginary and the symbolic, or between the symbolic and the real. Lacan's psychoanalytical poetry therapy encourages the analysand to escape from the imaginary, enter the symbolic, and head for the real which exists inside the symbolic, enabling subjectification, the goal of the analysis.

Therefore, the intrinsic psychoanalytical functions of Poetry Therapy, ways to employ them, what the analysand would experience in the process of the therapy, and the possible outcomes will be discussed to establish theoretical basis for methodology of Lacan's Psychoanalytical Poetry Therapy. It also is an way to embody recovery of aesthetic humanity in this barren age where we lost poetry.
