본 연구는 주아의 적정 파종시기를 구명하고자 수행되었다. 주아를 파종할 때 파종시기에 따른 수량을 살펴본 결과 중부 지역에서 추파한 경우 ‘단양마늘’의 평균 구 무게가 3.1-3.5g이었고 수확주 율은 61-71%였고 춘파의 경우 평균 구 무게가 1.8-2.8g이었고 수확주 율은 53-60%로 주아를 추파한 경우 수량이 높음을 알 수 있었고 적정 파종시기는 10월 초순이었다. 남부지역에서 ‘남도마늘’의 경우 평균 구 무게가 1.8-3.0g이었고 수확주 율은 74-89%였고 춘파의 경우 평균 구 무게가 0.6-1.0g이었고 수확주 율은 47-56%로 주아를 추파한 경우 수량이 높음을 알 수 있었고 적정 파종시기는 9월 중하순이었다.
This study was conducted to investigate the effect of planting dates using garlic bulbils for production of seed garlic. The planting dates were examined using 0.2 g bulbils of ‘Namdo’ or ‘Danyang’. For the planting dates study conducted in the middle regions, the bulbils of ‘Danyang’ planted in autumn produced bulb weight ranging from 3.1 to 3.5 g and percentage of harvest ranged from 61 to 71. The bulbils of ‘Danyang’ planted in spring produced bulb weight ranging from 1.8 to 2.8 g and percentage of harvest ranged from 53 to 60. The most desirable planting date was in the early October for the middle regions. For the planting dates study conducted in the southern regions, the bulbils of ‘Namdo’ planted in autumn produced bulb weight ranging from 1.8 to 3.0 g and percentage of harvest ranged from 74 to 89.
