본 연구는 대학생의 사회불안과 내현적 자기애, 부정적 정서와 우울의 관계에서 내면화된 수치심의 매개효과를 검증하는데 그 목적이 있다. 경로모형으로는 대학생의 우울에 영향력을 미치는 변수로서 사회불안, 부정적 정서, 내현적 자기애를 독립변수로 하고 내면화된 수치심을 매개변수로 설정하였다. 본 연구의 방법으로는 우리나라의 중부권에 재학하고 있는 대학생 1～4학년 396명을 대상으로 설문조사한 결과의 내용을 사용하였다.

자료의 처리는 SPSS 18.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, 상관분석, 요인분석, Cronbach's α계수를 산출하였으며, AMOS 4.0 프로그램으로는 경로분석을 위한 가설검증 및 모형의 적합도 지수, 경로계수, 경로효과를 분석하였다.

결과는 다음과 같이 나타났다. 우리나라 대학생의 우울에 영향을 미치는 변수는 사회불안, 내현적 자기애, 부정적 정서이며, 간접적인 영향력으로는 내면화된 수치심이 매개변수로 관련되어 있음이 확인되었다. 따라서 대학생의 우울에 사회불안과 내현적 자기애 및 부정적 정서가 직접적인 영향력을 미치고, 내면화된 수치심을 통해서 간접적인 영향력을 미친다는 결론을 얻었다.

본 연구는 이전의 선행연구들에서 다루어왔던 중?고등학생들을 대상으로 한 연구에서 더욱 발전하여 예기사회화 과정에서 미래사회로 진수하려는 사회적 생산자로서의 대상이 되는 대학생들로 확대를 시도하였으며, 심리적인 요인뿐만 아니라 사회적인 요인으로서의 사회불안을 적용시킨 내면화된 수치심을 통하여 우울을 약화사킬 수 있는 심리?사회적인 실증자료를 탐색하고자 하였다.

This purpose of study was to investigate the mediating effects of internalized shame in the relationships among students social anxiety, negative emotion, covert narcissism and depression.

As the method to process the data of this study, I used the result of having conducted the questionnaire survey targeting 396 male and female students of between freshman and senior attending university in Jungbu area.

Data were analyzed with the SPSS win 18.0 descriptive statistics software. The exploratory factor analysis was carried out with Cronbach's alpha, correlation analysis, and structural equation model analysis was used to conduct the cleansing work with the most appropriate measurement variable. The goodness of fit was evaluated through AMOS 4.0 software using confirmatory factor analysis, parameter estimation value, coefficient of determination, covariance matrix to confirm the effects of the path analysis, and predetermined variables on casual relationship.

In path analysis, students social anxiety, negative emotion, covert narcissism, have direct or indirect influences on depression. And internalized shame has indirect influences on it. These results have a statistical worth.
