Cloud manufacturing (CM) has been produced to respond various customer requirements by sharing manufacturing resources in cloud platform. Since then, many researches have been conducted to define CM concept, design CM platform architecture, classify manufacturing resources, and so forth. In recent five years, operational issues raised in CM (e.g., service composition, demand-supply matching, service scheduling) have been actively addressed but there is no review paper focusing the operational issues in CM. In this paper, we conduct a literature survey on cloud manufacturing focusing on operational process, and discuss potential research opportunities.
