초록보기

동아시아에 중국 국력의 성장은 미국과 중국 간 갈등을 조장하고 있다. 게다가 중국의 국력이 상승하면서 동아시아에서 자국 영향력을 확대하는 전략이 꾸준히 추진되고 있는데, 이는 주변 국가와 갈등을 더욱 고조시키고 있다.

특히, 중국이 활용하는 회색지대전략은 동아시아 해양분쟁을 더욱 복잡하게 만들고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 중국의해양 회색지대전략의 특징을 알아보고 그 전략 의도를 파악하는 것은 지역 안보에 중요한 연구가 될 것이라고 본다.

이러한 이유로 본 논문은 중국의 해양전략과 관련된 회색지대전략을 분석하면서 이에 대한 대응 방법을 연구하는 데목적을 두었다. 본 연구에서는 중국 해양전략의 특징 및 전략적으로 자주 사용하는 회색지대전략의 사례와 그 내용의 분석을 통해 중국 해양전략의 의도를 알아보았는데, 연구의 목적은 미국과 중국의 보고서와 논문 및 인터넷에 나타난 내용을 기초로 중국의 해양전략을 본질을 살펴보면서 중국의 회색지대전략에 대한 분석을 통해 그 대응 방안을찾아보는 데 있다.



The growth of Chinese power in East Asia is creating a conflict between the United States and China. China is steadily pursuing strategies to expand its influence in East Asia as its national power grows. This is also heightening the conflict with neighboring countries. In particular, I think China’s gray zone strategy is making the East Asian maritime dispute more complicated. In this situation, it is considered that examining the characteristics of China’s gray zone strategy will be an important study to understand China’s strategic intention. In this regard, this paper aims to analyze countermeasures through analyzing the gray area strategy related to China’s maritime strategy. The contents of the study explored the characteristics of China’s maritime strategy and the traditions and practical characteristics of the gray area strategy that frequently appears in the strategy.
